Muralen® natural [FS]® high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-HMW) is used where the generally good material properties of polyethylene are required. However, it is only used where the excellent sliding wear properties of Original "S"® are not required.
Due to its very good cut resistance and shock and impact absorption, it is often used in cutting and punching pads and impact protection strips.
The abbreviation [FS]® at the end of the name stands for Food Safe. This means that the material is certified for use with food.
